On our way back from Lucea last Tuesday we stopped to take pictures of this 200+ year old - still functioning - water wheel. It is much larger than the one close to Ocho Rios - and with water still turning it - neat! The last sugar cane was harvested in 1918, then it became a coconut grove until the mid '30s, now it is a golf club and guest house - beautiful! google it to learn more.
