more Jamaican Life

In the middle of town is a pretty city park - Turtle River Park. The story is that sea turtles used to come on land there and lay their eggs. Now they have reserve for turtles - mostly abandoned by people. They have 9 different kinds and last year several got out and went to the river! they found them and now have a fence around their pond. Next picture is of the scaffolding around a building - good use of poles, right? The last two pictures are of a typical woodshop - outdoors, with piles of wood around, and the men making beautiful furniture - skilled craftsmanship - notice the chairs on the far right and the tables on the left. There are many of these - this one is larger than most we've seen.
