YS Falls

We had a great time at YS Falls on the Fourth of July ... here are Jennie and Jason ready for the zip line - the kids at the pool, the gittney ride up and Grace with the live flower arrangement at the front desk.

Service Project

For the Hardy Family Service Project they collected books and toys - mostly from their own house! In checking with the School for the Deaf, they needed white board markers so they brought some of those also. School is out for the summer - but the school is run by the Mennonite Church and they were preparing for a Summer Bible Camp - so we took the things to them there - one small boy - Natty, was happy to get them! Noah is pretty social and made friends easily with him. Then we visited Brother Gayle and Marcus in Junction - miss serving with these neat people.

Fort Charles

In Kingston we visited historic Fort Charles - originally Fort Cromwell...lots of history - here are the kids by a huge anchor - then Jason explained the 'ramparts' neat since it was the 3rd of July - it was pretty hot and Grace had about had it with walking in the heat when we stopped by the 'giddy' house...tipped over in an earthquake.

Ocho Rios Branch

We increased the population at the Ocho Rios Branch by 8! The kids enjoyed Primary and since it was Fast Sunday we enjoyed the testimonies of the members and blessing of three baby boys... one of which has a mother and father in the home. Here are the sweet young women we got to work with there - felt like our home branch! Good Sunday!!

Hardy Family arrive in Jamaica

The Hardy Family arrived in Montego Bay on Saturday, June 30th - we stopped at Columbus Discovery Park on the way to Ocho Rios -- stay tuned for more!

Elders Going Home

We have a great group of elders going home tomorrow - we have known them the whole time we have been here - and we love them and wish them the very best of everything! Several are going to attend BYU in Provo or Idaho so we will get to see them every now and then....yay!

Birthday Cup Cake Cones

It was one of the office elders Birthday on Monday - I couldn't find any cupcake papers in the store so I bought cones and made the cup cakes in them - everybody liked them..especially Elder Hobbs!
